It's time for change...
The FGVA will be stepping away from the promoting and management of all tournaments effective immediately. The 2017 Volleyball Schedule will still continue but will be operated and managed entirely by the Fresno City Volleyball staff. Everyone that has already submitted their registration for any tournaments will have their information forwarded to the Fresno City Volleyball Tournament Directors. Anyone that still needs to register for any tournaments can email Fresno City Volleyball to register or ask any questions. All tournament policies practiced by the FGVA will be at the discretion of the Fresno City Volleyball Tournament Directors.

In an attempt to sum up 2016, we've selected some of our favorite pics. Our selection criteria? Teams with matching outfits, fun poses, occasional photo bombs, and of course...action shots of our amazing FGVA players! Enjoy :)

Congratulations to the 2016 Players of the Year, Evan Horn and Meghan Haas. Evan absolutely dominated the men's division by competing in every tournament and winning 3 men's titles and placing 2nd in all the rest! He is now 3rd on the FGVA men's career win list with 13 total championships and is the first person to win Player of the Year for 3 consecutive years. The battle for Women's Player of the Year was so close that it came down to winning the coed event of the FGVA Series Championship. After missing 4 tournaments, Meghan stayed in the mix by winning the 6 tournaments she did play in, including 2 women's titles and 4 coed titles. Her 6 tournament wins in a single season has only been accomplished twice before by JT Shaver (2013) and Dan Castaneda (2007). Way to go Evan and Meghan!
